Endure 24

Endure 24 is a twenty four hour race run over a 5 mile loop of woodland trails over the weekend of the 28th & 29th June. . It takes place in the scenic Wasing Park Estate, Aldermaston near Reading.  BMSTC is the official charity for this exciting 24 hour run!    Although entries have officially closed, we still have a few places for runners if anyone is interested? 

We are also on the lookout to help marshal this event from midday on the Saturday through to midday on Sunday!

Boars Bridge Festival tickets are ready!

Boars Bridge Acoustic Music Festival will be held this year from Friday 20th to Sunday 21st June.

Tickets are £15.00 for the weekend plus £10 if you would like to camp.  We are delighted that Mike Silver has agreed to be our headline act this year!

Joy needs some plastic plant pots!

Joy will be busy growing plants for our Summer Fayre on the 31st May here at the Centre.  She has asked if anyone has any small plastic plant pots that they could bring in for her?  She is looking mainly for the small ones, but anything under 1 litre would be helpful!

Camping Equipment!

Anyone interested in a load of second hand camping equipment? One of our members used to be an avid Moto TT fan and used to regularly camp at races. He is no longer able to this and would like to rehome his equipment in return for a donation to the Centre. If you're itnerested please email pippa@bmstc.org

RideLondon - Surrey 100!

Fancy another challenge?!

We have limited spaces for this years RideLondon-Surrey 100. Sunday 10th August, After the success of the inaugural Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 in 2013, 2014 promises to be bigger and better. Experience Lon...don and Surrey like you never have before – with no cars! Starting in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and cycle 100 miles through the closed streets of London and on into the Surrey hills.

SEATED PILATES FOR PEOPLE WITH MS

People with MS in Wokingham borough are invited to join in a weekly seated Pilates class. 

The first trial class will take place from Wednesday 19th March at 3.30 – 4.30pm in the Livewell Health and Wellbeing Zone at Loddon Valley Leisure Centre Rehab gym, Lower Earley.

Exercise can help some people with MS manage their symptoms, along with decreasing the risk of heart disease, improving muscle strength and mobility and helping you achieve or maintain a healthy weight.  All levels of ability are welcome; however, if you have additional needs and require extra assistance, please bring your carer with you.
