MS Awareness Week

The MS Trust will be running two chatrooms during MS Awareness Week at the end of April.

  • Cognition and MS - Tuesday 28 April
  • Partners of people with MS - Thursday 30 April
  • Each chatroom will run from 10am to 7pm

The chatrooms give people the opportunity to ask questions of health professionals with expertise in the topic and to share experiences and problems with others in a similar situation.

If you know of people who might be interested in these events, please pass on the information. If you would like some A4 posters or A5 flyers, please contact the MS Trust at the address below.

If people are not able to take part on the day, they can still ask a question by sending it in advance to info@mstrust.org.uk or by ringing the MS Trust on 01462 476700.

A transcript will be available a fortnight after the event.

MS Society Campaign to Support Early Day Motion

An Early Day Motion (EDM) is a Parliamentary convention that MPs use to support a particular issue or concern. EDM 822 welcomes the results of research from a clinical study that showed that the transplantation of bone marrow stem cells may stop or even reverse the progression of disability for people with relapsing remitting MS.

Please write to your MP and ask them to lend their support to EDM 822. With your support we can make a difference.

For more information see the MS Soceity Website http://www.mssociety.org.uk/research/news_in_research/research_news/stem_cell_trial.html
